Garganega (pronounced “gar-gah-neh-gah” ) originates from Soave in the Veneto region of Italy. It has bright fruit characters of stone fruit, honeydew, almonds and white pepper. It is a medium-bodied wine with hints of pear flavour that linger on the palate.
Garganega pairs well with lighter meats, tofu, or fish. It is an ideal match for many Asian dishes, vegetable dishes, light pasta and antipasti.
It is best serviced chilled at 8-10°C.
