Our vineyards are the highest in the Granite Belt Region and allow us to produce truly ‘cool climate’ wines. The unique decomposed granite soils here are also ideal for growing ‘alternative varieties’ or ‘Strange Birds’ – a term used here in the Granite Belt to describe some lesser-known grapevine varieties that are relatively new to Australia.

We believe that the quality of the wine really comes down to the quality of the vineyard as no winemaker can do what Mother Nature can. We started from an empty block of land and carefully built the vineyards to try and capture the essence of this beautiful landscape.
